Toddler Classes

The program goal of this class is to provide an environment that will encourage exploration, assist in motor, cognitive, and social-linguistic development. With a stimulating classroom environment, we encourage the children to explore. We guide them toward developing new physical skills and achieving emerging milestones. The children are not expected to be potty trained.
Three's Program
The children in the three-year-old program are introduced to a school atmosphere and become accustomed to a routine schedule. The days are filled with plenty of hugs and direction. These classes are centered around various themes throughout the year. Manipulatives designed to enhance concepts and fine motor skills, block building. The teachers' work one-on-one and with small groups of children on specific developmental skills.
Four's Program
These classes specifically encourage and foster development during the four year old of being between little and big. The days are filled with plenty of pre-literacy and math skills. Social and self-help skills are fostered as children develop their sense of self and one another. The classes offer organized small group and individual instruction, as well as discovery and learning through playing and doing.
Manipulatives designed to enhance concepts and fine motor skills, block building, role playing, drawing, art, stories, and calendar concepts are vibrant in the classroom.
Children participate in hands-on play, stories, songs, finger-plays, art projects, large motor games, and other activities related to the weekly theme for their class. The teachers' work one-on-one and with small groups of children on specific developmental skills. In addition to the enriching daily activities, the children enjoy some science and music class.​
Pre-Kindergarten
Our classes pre-K classes are designed to prepare children for kindergarten by integrating pre-literacy academic skills (alphabet recognition, counting, writing skills, sorting, shapes, colors, etc.) into our thematic approach to curriculum.
Children participate in hands-on play, stories, songs, fingerplays, art projects, science, music, math, large motor games, and other activities specific to the weekly theme for their class. Classrooms are organized into numerous centers with small group and individual instruction: art, manipulatives, building, housekeeping, writing, science, music and math. Some centers are open-ended and children driven, and many hands-on activities are available during center time. A sense of community is fostered as the children carry out their "jobs" and participate in Show & Tell opportunities. The teachers' also work one-on-one and with small groups of children on specific readiness skills to ensure that those students moving on to kindergarten are prepared to do so.
